Tree Commission

The New Lexington Tree Commission was established by Village Council in 1991 with the intention of protecting the trees throughout the Village. The committee is made up of seven members who reside within the Village and are assigned the task of studying, investigating, advising, developing, and administering a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of Village and park trees, along streets and in other public areas.
